Information about Holiday Club Tampereen Kehräämö

Parking at Tampereen Kehräämö is paid (2.20 €/h, 14 €/day). For holiday apartments, parking for one car is included in the room price. In this case, the car can be parked in the P2 or P3 parking garages, accessible with your room key. 

The parking fee can be paid at the machine located in the parking area or added to your room bill by providing the car's registration number during hotel check-in.

Parking is free with a disabled parking permit.

Yes, indeed! There are electric car charging stations available in the P1 area, although spots cannot be reserved in advance. Parking is also charged during the charging period.

This depends on availability. You can inquire about it from the hotel reception the day of your arrival.

Late check-ins (after 6 PM) do not need to be reported. If you pay for your reservation at the destination and arrive after 6 PM, you can guarantee your reservation in advance using your credit card.

Breakfast is included in the price of hotel rooms. If you are staying in a holiday apartment, breakfast in the main building can be purchased for an additional fee.

You can purchase swimming pool access for an additional fee either when booking or during your stay. The accommodation price alone does not include access to the swimming pools.

Please note that if you book your holiday through another booking site (e.g., Hotels.com, Booking.com), whether swimming pool access is included in the price may vary.

Yes, there is! All hotel rooms have wireless internet access. However, the holiday apartments do not have wireless internet.

If you have booked a hotel room:

A reservation payable at the destination with the right to cancel can be cancelled without charge by 6:00 PM on the day of arrival at the latest. A prepaid reservation cannot be cancelled or modified.

If you have rented a holiday apartment:

The reservation can be cancelled without charge at least 14 days before the start of the reservation. Cancellations must be made in writing to asiakaspalvelu@holidayclub.fi 

We recommend that our customers purchase travel insurance for unexpected situations. 

Holiday Club Tampereen Kehräämö has two accessible hotel rooms. The bathrooms in these rooms are equipped with grab rails by the shower and toilet, as well as an emergency call button.

Arrival and parking

The main entrance can be accessed barrier-free by drop-off transport, such as an accessible taxi. There is also accessible on-street parking near the main entrance.

The area around the main entrance is level and accessible, although the entrance itself does not stand out clearly from its surroundings through visual contrast.

The entrances to both Kehräämö and Loisto are located in the rear courtyard. The outdoor area at the back of the building is almost entirely level and accessible. The route from the accessible parking spaces is partially covered, stands out from its surroundings through visual contrast, and can be accessed from the parking area via a lowered kerb.

Accessible parking spaces

Guests with a disabled parking permit may park on the street directly in front of the main entrance. Parking rights are indicated by signage, but there is no separate accessible parking space marking. The route from the parking space to the entrance is short and accessible.

Accessible parking spaces for guests are available in the rear courtyard. The spaces are 2,500 mm wide and 4,500 mm long. They are marked with a small blue sign.

Entrance and reception

The accessible door opening button at the main entrance is marked with signage and positioned at an accessible height (900–1100 mm).

There is sufficient space in front of the entrance door to turn with a mobility aid. The entrance vestibule also provides enough room to move with a mobility aid, and the flooring allows for smooth access. The grates in front of the entrance are accessible.

The main lobby can be accessed either through the main entrance or via the corridors leading from the rear courtyard entrances. The reception desk is located slightly off to the side when arriving through the main entrance. The desk is well lit, but it does not stand out clearly from its surroundings through visual contrast. The patterned flooring in the lobby may also present challenges for visually impaired guests.

Getting around the building

The lifts in Loisto provide accessible access to all floors. The lift doors stand out from their surroundings through visual contrast, and the buttons are positioned at an accessible height.

The turning space inside the lift is 1,320 mm, which meets accessibility recommendations. However, using the lifts may still be challenging for visually impaired guests. Floor signage is provided in a black-and-white contrast format.

Spa accessibility

Changing rooms: The spa has an accessible changing room for guests with reduced mobility. The room offers accessible access and sufficient space for guests using mobility aids to move around and turn comfortably.

Washing facilities: The washing facilities provide ample space for guests using mobility aids. A movable shower chair is also available to make washing easier.

Saunas: The saunas are partially accessible for guests using mobility aids. The sauna door width is 830 mm. There is no designated wheelchair space in the sauna, and there is limited room for moving around with a mobility aid. The facilities may also be challenging for visually impaired guests.

Pool area: The pool area offers plenty of space for moving around with mobility aids. Several seats are available for resting, and handrails are provided around the pools.
The main pool can be accessed via an accessible ramp without the need for a pool lift.

Yes, we do! Please inform us of your allergy when making the reservation. The rooms have laminate flooring, and allergy-friendly blankets and pillows are available. Guests traveling with pets always stay in different rooms than those designated for guests with allergies.

Of course! Pets are welcome, but please inform us about their arrival when making your reservation. The pet fee is €35 per stay in vacation apartments and spa hotels. This fee is per apartment, meaning you can bring multiple pets for the same charge.

There is no pet fee for guide dogs or service dogs.

However, you must still book a pet-friendly room and include a note about the guide dog or service dog in the reservation details. This ensures that the resort can assign you the correct type of room.

Common amenities in the spa hotel rooms include: shower, toilet, hairdryer, bed linens, towels, and TV. For detailed room-specific amenity lists, please check the product pages in our online store.

The hotel rooms also provide bathrobes for adults, while children's bathrobes are available for rent at the reception. For hotel guests, the cost of bathrobes is €2 per stay per piece. Slippers can be purchased at the reception for €3.50 per pair.

Common amenities in the vacation apartments include: bed linens and towels, kitchenware, equipped kitchen, TV, ironing equipment, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, washing machine (in some vacation apartments), and drying cabinet (in some vacation apartments). If you forget your phone charger or any other belongings in a hotel room or in the pool area, you can inquire about them from the reception during the same week. On Sundays we send lost items to Lost & Found Oy. Items left behind in holiday apartments are stored by our cleaning company; these items can be inquired about from the reception.

This depends on the resort's availability. You can inquire at the hotel reception the evening before your departure. The cost is 10 €/hour.

Overnight stays in a camping van is prohibited in the area of our resorts and holiday apartments.

Unfortunately, bringing your own hot tub is not allowed.

In holiday homes (including Villa apartments), extra beds are not already made up, so you can use the extra bed as a sofa and only turn it into a bed when you need it.

In hotel rooms, extra beds are made up and already made up.

The room description in the online store states the actual number of beds and separate extra beds.

Yes, indeed! Travel beds are available in limited quantities for hotel rooms and holiday apartments for an additional fee. We recommend reserving a travel bed when making your accommodation booking.

The family room price includes accommodation for a family of four, with options available for up to six people. The room features either a double bed or two separate beds, along with a sofa bed.

Booking two adjacent rooms is also a great option, especially with older children, when you want privacy and space. In online bookings, please indicate this in the additional information field.

Swim diapers are available for purchase at the spa reception. The use of swim diapers is mandatory for children aged 0-2 years.

Hotel guests have the option to book an adjacent hotel room as a children's extra room at a special rate of €65 per night. The extra room rate includes accommodation and breakfast for two children under 18 years of age.

A third and fourth child can also be accommodated in the room on a sofa bed for an additional charge of €20 per child per night. One extra room can be booked per adult room​.
