Welcome to Åre
Åre is located in Jämtland, about 630 km northwest of Stockholm. Åre is easy to reach regardless of how you come. The nearest airport is in Östersund, about 90 km from Åre.
Airline services
There are several daily flights between Stockholm and Östersund year round. Flight-time is about 1 hour. In 2008, Finnair began flying directly from Helsinki to Östersund during weeks 7 and 13. For more information, see Finnair’s website at www.finnair.fi
Stockholm is easily reached from many other destinations as well.
Train
Åre’s train station is located about 100 m from Holiday Club Åre. There are several departures daily from Stockholm to Åre. There are night trains to Åre available from Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. You can also travel from Åre to Trondheim a couple of times a day.

Key Service office
The Key Service office is located at Spa Hotel Holiday Club Åre’s reception. The Key Service area also has a waiting room and a luggage room.

4th of may - 24th of june: Weekdays 8am-11am / 1pm-5pm, all other days closed
25th of june - 19th of august: Every day 8am-11am / 3pm-7pm
20th of august - winterseason 12: Weekdays 8am-11am / 1pm-5pm, all other days closed
