Holiday Club Calahonda
The small, pleasant residential area of Calahonda is located along Spain’s sunny shores in Costa del Sol, half way between Marbela and Fuengirola. Holiday Club’s Mirador de Calahonda hillside location is about one kilometre from the beach. There is a magnificent view from the top of the hill out over the ocean, and the climate is dryer and warmer than that on the beach.
In Calahonda, you can go for a swim even though you are not on the beach; there are pools for adults and kids alike. Active travellers can challenge their holiday friends to a match at the Club del Sol tennis centre opposite the lodgings. There are also plenty of boutiques and shops in the vicinity. Likewise, you will find a number of cafés and restaurants, so you won’t have to spend your holiday cooking. Calahonda also has a medical centre should you need medical assistance.
